Hoo Farm, Telford 🐒🐖🦊
Our plan for today was to visit Blists Hill open air museum, a cute victorian town where the shops and streets are all set up victorian style and even the employees dress up in period costumes.
Unfortunately the weather and traffic were against us and we were left with only one hour to spare before the museum closed. We opted instead to visit Hoo Farm, and it was well worth the trip.
Sure we were soaked, but what’s a bit of rain when you’re having fun. ☔
Out of all of the animals I was so incredibly excited to see the deer 🦌 as we were wondering around wallaby woods a deer suddenly appeared, and I’m not exaggerating when I say my heart started beating like a total loon. He was simply stunning. I’m going to sound like a total city girl here (which I am) but I cannot recall ever seeing a deer in real life. Sure tv shows allow you to see them up close, but it’s nothing compared to seeing them in person.
As we continued on the trail there were wallaby’s, pigs, sheep, Lima’s, Llama’s etc, but I fell in love instantly with the cutest doe ever! ❤️ (pictured below) ❤️ her boyfriend wasn’t too keen on her getting so much attention though, so I had a quiet little word with my doe and told her to dump him, she didn’t listen though 😂
We saw so many wonderful animals at Hoo Farm, but the deer were my favourite. I’m really looking forward to going back in the summer, and I’m hoping that doe will have found herself a less temperamental chap.
