Eye Eye

I have so much admiration for artists, the skills they have is immense. The way some can make drawings or paintings look so life like is mind blowing.

Today I have been painting a slipware fairy, and the eyes, oh my god, the eyes have nearly tipped me over the edge 😆 I’ve never been able to paint faces, eyes especially – I just cannot get them right!

First she looked drunk and then she looked manic. So I repainted the blooming things closed 😁 Cheating I know, but she certainly looks a lot sweeter now.

I have always loved art, but for whatever reason I was not gifted in the eyeball department.
