Cheeky little break…

Wowzers, it seems like an absolute age since I last wrote anything here!

We are one week back from our adventures in Northumberland – it was super chilly! I had four layers on at one point – and frozen lips! Praying our next holiday involves some sunshine.

We had a great time exploring and adventuring though (despite the cold) and I just can’t recommend Northumberland enough – it is simply stunning.
From the beaches, to the castles, the food and the many many attractions, you won’t be stuck for something to do.
We didn’t make it across to Farne Island to see the puffins as the sea was too choppy – and a rerun of Titanic we did not need! I like to avoid sinking, also, there wasn’t a big ass door available, so it was a no from me!

We did have THE BEST and I do mean THE BEST beef stew at Bamburgh Castle and I swear, just ever so momentarily, Paul and I thought we were Vikings! I highly recommend that stew – YUM.

We stayed at Budle Hall and every day we came back to a cute little tea, and trust me, it was very very welcome.

We did venture off the road at one point, down some shady little steps, a supposed short cut back to our hotel – well, let me tell you, there was nothing short about it….
We did have a giggle though šŸ˜Š (video below)

Now it’s back to real life – working blah blah blah!
But I will be doing some writing on my next book this bank holiday weekend, after I’ve ploughed through my marketing malarkey – honestly this stuff never gets any easier.

Have a fab bank hols folks ā¤ļø
